Why do veneers need to be dried? This is mainly because before the peeling process, in order to soften the wood, improve its plasticity and the quality of veneer peeling, the wood segments usually undergo hydrothermal treatment, resulting in a high moisture content of the veneer after peeling. If the peeled veneer is directly glued, hot pressing will produce bubbles, and the plywood is prone to degumming and deformation, and cracks will appear on the surface. Therefore, the peeled veneer should be dried in time to make its moisture content meet the requirements of the plywood production process. Veneer drying is to force the water of the high-moisture veneer to evaporate by heating under certain conditions to reduce its moisture content. When the board is dried, if the drying equipment is not good, even if the workmanship is fine, it is difficult to ensure that the furniture will not deform or crack.
